Tiwa Savage Debuts Her Acting/Directing Skills In ‘Water And Garri’ ⁣Starring Mike Afolarin & Jemima Osunde

⁣Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage makes her acting and directing debut in ‘Water & Garri’ the first feature from Unbound Studios and JM Films.

As well as writing and performing the original soundtrack, Savage, whose Water and Gerri music EP was released in 2021, is an executive producer through her ‘Everything Savage’ company.

Filmed in Cape Coast, Ghana, the film which also stars Mike Afolarin, Andrew Bunting, and Jemima Osunde portrays Savage as a fashion designer with a budding career in the US who returns to her home country to confront the guilt she left behind.

Featuring a script by Comfort Emmanuel and a production by Unbounds’ Jim Adesanya, this feature film was directed by Meji Alabi. Vanessa Amadi-Ogbonna, along with Alabi and Adesanya, serve as executive producers.
