World-renowned Ghanaian-American fibre optics innovator and inventor Dr. Thomas Owusu Mensah has died.

Dr. Mensah is reported to have died on the 27th of March 2024 at the Kumasi Catholic Hope Exchange Hospital in Ghana’s Ashanti region where he was receiving treatment following a short illness.

He died at age 74 years.

The Doctor’s family has asked all to standby for details about plans for his burial in the coming weeks.
