UK-Based Nigerian Traveler Pelumi Nubi Completes Epic Solo Road Trip from London to Lagos
Embarking on an awe-inspiring solo road trip spanning thousands of miles, Pelumi Nubi, a UK-based Nigerian globetrotter and travel content creator, has successfully reached her final destination – the city of Lagos.
Driven by a passion to inspire others and showcase the splendour of Africa, Pelumi Nubi kicked off her remarkable expedition on January 30th, setting out from London. Her journey led her through a diverse array of landscapes, cultures, and experiences across Europe and West Africa.
From traversing the bustling streets of Paris on February 1st to basking in the sun-kissed shores of Barcelona on February 4th, Pelumi’s adventure took her through the heart of Spain before venturing into the enchanting landscapes of Morocco on February 10th.
Crossing the vast expanse of the West Sahara desert on February 20th marked a pivotal moment in Pelumi’s journey, symbolizing her transition into the African continent. Her odyssey continued through Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ghana, Togo, and Benin.
Despite encountering challenges along the way, including a harrowing accident in Ivory Coast on March 28th, Pelumi persevered, fueled by her unwavering determination to reach her final destination.
Amidst jubilant celebrations from the students of Esae University in the Republic of Benin on April 6th, Pelumi Nubi arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, marking the triumphant conclusion of her epic solo road trip.
