Stephanie Karikari: A Journey of Beauty, Purpose & Impact2

In a world where beauty and brains often coexist but rarely harmonize, Stephanie Karikari emerges as a shining example of the perfect blend of elegance and intellect.

This remarkable woman has not only worn the prestigious crown of Miss Ghana 2010/11 but has also ventured into various domains, leaving her indelible mark everywhere she goes.

Stephanie Karikari’s journey to stardom began when she was crowned Miss Ghana 2010. This remarkable achievement catapulted her into the limelight, and she quickly became the face of BO 16 (Ghandour Cosmetics) hair care products, showcasing her beauty and charisma.

In 2011, Stephanie took her grace and compassion to the global stage as she participated in the Miss World beauty pageant held in London. Her radiant heart shone through as she was honoured with the prestigious “Beauty With A Purpose” award, a testament to her dedication to making the world a better place. This award serves as a reminder that beauty queens are not just glamorous figures but also possess a deep affection for the betterment of society.

Stephanie Karikari’s talents extend far beyond the realm of beauty pageants. As a charismatic TV host and executive producer, she enlightens audiences with “The SK Guide Show.” This touring show delves into Africa’s diverse lifestyle, showcasing its developments, achievements, and remarkable individuals across various industries. Airing on Fridays at 3:30 pm on @akwaabamagic Channel 150 and Gotv supa Ch 102, it brings a refreshing perspective on the continent’s progress.

But Stephanie’s mission goes beyond television. In 2012, she founded the Lumos International Foundation For Empowerment (LIFE), a non-governmental organization with a focus on school development, youth empowerment through education, and the enhancement of entrepreneurial skills among young women. The foundation’s impact resonates through various initiatives, including health campaigns and educational projects.

In May 2021, Lumos International collaborated with other health agencies in Ghana to organize a health screening program and enroll over one thousand children from Jamestown in Accra into the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). This endeavour aimed to benefit over 10,000 children, underscoring Stephanie’s commitment to improving lives.

Currently, the foundation is spearheading educational projects by donating books, computers, and refurbishing and maintaining school libraries in the Greater Accra Region. This remarkable effort highlights her dedication to ensuring access to quality education for all.

Beyond her philanthropic endeavours, Stephanie Karikari wears the hat of an entrepreneur with grace. She is the founder and CEO of Safari Cosmetics Ltd., a luxury brand that reflects her commitment to excellence and elegance.

But Stephanie’s journey doesn’t stop here. She is now poised to conquer new horizons as a budding actor. Don’t miss her captivating debut alongside Nollywood’s finest, Ruth Kadiri, in Eddie Watson’s movie, ‘A Mother’s Lie.’ You can catch this exciting cinematic venture on Eddie Watson’s YouTube page, where Stephanie’s talent shines brightly.
